I have a truth inside me I want to express, a special truth that only I can tell. We all do. That’s why we write.  And this realization is the great gift that Peggy’s ClarityWorks' programs have given me—and continue to give me.

Creative Writing Workshops

Discover your fearless writing with Peggy Tabor Millin.

Fearlessness  is to be willing to risk running toward the lion's roar. An African story tells how lionesses form a semicircle around the antelope while the lion, himself a poor hunter, stands at the About Peggy Tabor Millinopen side and roars. Frightened by the sound, the antelope run from the roar into the jaws of the huntresses. If they ran toward the lion's roar, they would find freedom and safety. In the life of writers, the challenge to run toward our fear is repeated over and over, taking us deeper and deeper into discovering the truth of who we are and what we have to say—our story.

In a safe supportive environment, a fearless writing workshop combines group writing with solitude for individual writing and social interaction with silence.  Workshops differ from retreats in length (they're usually 1-3 days) and participants are responsible for their own food and lodging. In some cases, larger groups can be accommodated in workshops.
