Description

bluedream writing on beachWhat is bliss if not writing at the beach?  Think of mornings writing in group with the meeting room doors open onto the deck. An osprey settles in the palmetto outside the window. At tide's turn, you trek down the beach to watch the dolphins play and sit a while to write the afternoon away. Later you might nap in your private room, or take a bike ride around the island. Peggy provides an atmosphere of support and individual attention; she also participates in group writes and is readily available. With additional time to write on your own, you are sure to take home a full notebook and wonderful memories.  Click here to see the comments of women writers who have attended this retreat.

Limited to 15 women.

I loved all the different prompts and different amounts of writing time. Thank you for a powerful learning experience.  I believe my writing became deeper, more descriptive, and more alive. I went places in my writing that tapped sources I was not aware were there.  And Peggy--you are a wonderful, gentle, yet probing and imaginative leader.  I  am especially grateful for the positive focus and feedback. I'll keep coming back for more!

I’ve attended several retreats with Peggy.... At Seabrook I produced two short stories that I'm developing into screenplays and a short story that evolved into a novel. The Olympic Peninsula retreat allowed me to immerse myself in my creative process and accelerated my momentum toward my writing goals... I will be attending more retreats with Peggy.  I consider them essential in any writer's toolbox.
