Alumni Retreat: Fearless Writing on the Blue Ridge Retreat for Women
11th Annual Fearless Writing on the Blue Ridge
Retreat for Women
Lake Logan Conference Center
Canton, North Carolina
Sunday, November 10 - Sunday, November 17, 2013
This retreat is full. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list, please complete the inquiry form below.
This 6-day, 7-night retreat provides ample time to sink into your writing. Here is the answer to all those times you've said, "If I only had the time!"
We inhabit our own village of cabins on the lake front. Mornings, we meet in the lodge with its stone fireplace, rockers, and chestnut-plank table and use Centered Writing Practice to inspire new material and to explore writing tools and craft. In the afternoon, we write in our rooms, on the decks, or in the many nooks and crannies around the grounds. In the evening, we read our work and receive feedback. Click here to see the comments of women writers who have attended this retreat.
Limited to 15 women.

Thirty miles west of Asheville in Canton, NC, Lake Logan Conference Center is nestled at the foot of Cold Mountain in a quiet valley between the Pisgah National Forest and the Shining Rock Wilderness in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Operated by the Episcopal Diocese of Western North Carolina*, Lake Logan offers 300 acres for hiking, canoeing, swimming, and other recreational opportunities. Imagine the mountain lake reflecting the surrounding forest on a background of pure blue. If beauty inspires, we are destined to become poets! We'll meet by the stone fireplace in a living room setting or, if weather permits, on the porch overlooking the lake. Take the video tour at www.lakelogan.org.
*ClarityWorks is not affiliated with the Episcopal Diocese or any other religious or spiritual organization.
